This Seiko Prospex watch is inspired by a 1978 divers model, however, this re-interpretation is more compact. Nicknamed the 'Tuna' due to its bold shape and large diameter similar to a tuna fin. The black dial has a date window and is complimented by yellow gold accents. A solar powered mechanism harvests energy from natural and artificial light sources. Invented by Seiko in 1975 to accommodate the expansion and contraction of a diver’s wrist at different depths, this watch showcases a black rubber version of the accordion-style divers strap.
